R T Uma Maheswari, Communist Party of India (CPI) candidate from Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, says that the issue of lack of access to drinking water in the area has been addressed during her tenure. While ensuring employment is the responsibility of the Government, Maheswari says her challenge would be to take up key issues with the representatives of the Government.
