Rate of crimes reported across India under property offences, including dacoity, robbery and theft, was the highest in Delhi--597.8 per 100,000 population--followed by Mizoram (141.7) and Haryana (104.7) in 2015, according to data from the National Crime Records Bureau.
The average crime rate of property crimes in India was 49.7 per 100,000 population.
As many as 625,279 property crimes were reported all over India in 2015, and the highest percentage of crimes was reported in Delhi (20%) followed by Maharashtra (14%), and Uttar Pradesh (9.6%).
