On 24th August, members from 19 villages in Angul came together to submit a petition for mini-anganwadis to Dhenkanal MP, Mahesh Sahoo. For many in rural Angul, especially the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups, who live in areas that are hard to access, the main Anganwadis are almost always far from home.
This makes it difficult for them to send their children to Anganwadis where they can benefit from the government's supplementary nutrition program and get pre-school education. Watch to know more about issues faced by the people and what measures will be taken.
