Anantnag in South Kashmir is the only Lok Sabha constituency in the country where the polling is held in three phases because of security concerns.
In February this year, 40 CRPF jawans were killed in a suicide bombing attack on their convoy in Pulwama. Pulwama and Shopian districts of Anantnag Constituency in J &K will vote on 6 May
The constituency also does not have an MP since Mehbooba Mufti of PDP resigned to become Jammu & Kashmir's Chief Minister.
