Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics are one of the focal points under the Rashtra Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK), introduced by the government in 2018. Its the government's big push to empower teens to be able to take decisions on their own health-related to issues like substance abuse, nutrition, and sexual health.

But the money under the scheme is hardly spent. Between 2017-2018, Sitapur was given a 177 lakh rupees, the second-highest allocation of funds in Uttar Pradesh. But only 32% of it was spent.
