Anti-National Elements: India's New Crime Category
The National Crime Records Bureau’s Crime (NCRB) reported that “anti-national elements” committed 1450 crimes under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Special Local Laws (SLL), in 2017. This is the first time that NCRB which comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs has put out this category.
