BRTS: Lessons Delhi can learn from Ahmedabad
If the Ahmedabad Bus Rapid Transport System (BRTS) is nimble-footed, Delhi's is a plodding giant. Delhi made many strategic errors in design, according to experts associated with the Ahmedabad project. Creating an open system was the first mistake because it resulted in lane intrusions and consequently, traffic jams.
