When was the last time you wrote a letter and posted it? Or for that matter, have you seen the red and black letter box recently? It’s hard to imagine. But just 20 years ago, we were all avid letter writers and posters. Now we “post” on Facebook and Instagram.
So, is the post defunct in India, far from it. With over 1.5 lakh post offices across the country, India has the largest postal network in the world.
On world post day today, let’s go back to the world of letters and stamps: a world of communication thats gently slipped away.
